G1440 Needs a Front End Developer

G1440 is looking for a passionate front end web developer with 3-5 years experience working on a variety of projects.  You are professional, good with deadlines, detail-oriented and work independently.  

G.1440 uses Wordpress, so you’ll need to be a guru at creating themes from scratch and adapting pre-existing themes.  You'll need HTML 5/XHTML, CSS & jQuery, Responsive Design and PHP to work on the front-end.  We work with Photoshop, Illustrator and Coda. You can use Dreamweaver if you prefer that kind of bloatware. 

 

Work in fast paced environment with lots of opportunities to learn and grow. We like to have fun, but do take pride in our work.

 

Your focus will be front-end web development.  You'll work building, maintaining and enhancing websites for our clients.  On any given day, you might do any of the following:

 

Slice and Dice Photoshop files and write HTML, CSS, jQuery Install and configure Wordpress locally or on external servers Build Resposive Websites Implement jQuery functionality and plugins Research, test and implement Wordpress plugins Customize and/or develop Wordpress plugins
