Apple's introduction of the iPhone and iPad has sparked an explosion in the mobile device market. Beyond just email and messaging, mobile applications are now being used to perform myriad activities and deliver all kinds of services. Where, when and how does user experience design fit in?

Jim Jarrett of BoxTone will give an overview of the business of mobile devices. John Trupiano and Yair Flickr of Smartlogic Solutions describe their UX process when developing mobile apps, and will walk us through a case study or two. John Whalen will discuss Bridgeline Digital's work in the mobile space.
